About Silencezap
A single-purpose tool: paste a YouTube link, get readable text.
Silencezap was built because reading is faster than watching. Short-form video hides a lot of useful information behind 60 seconds of playback — a recipe, a tutorial step, a quote you want to cite. Silencezap pulls the caption track that YouTube already publishes with the video and formats it into text you can scan, search, copy and keep.
Who uses it

What it doesn’t do
No accounts, no stored history, no re-uploading of anyone’s video. If a video has no captions, Silencezap says so instead of guessing.
